Description We are currently seeking technical editors to work on project teams developing training materials. Editors will edit instructor-led training manuals, online documentation, and web-based documentation, as well as policies, procedures, and reference manuals. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in English or related field and at least three years of experience as a technical editor.

Description

Instructional designers and training developers create instructor-led, CBT, and web-based courses for a variety of technical and business-related subjects. The position requires experience in the following:

  • Front-end content analysis and course design
  • Storyboard creation for technology-delivered instruction
  • Writing and grammatical skills

Project management skills, multimedia, CBT, online help development, and/or editing experience are a plus.

Position Multimedia Programmer

Description

Bianco Hopkins seeks multimedia programmers to work on development teams producing web and computer-based training and web pages. The multimedia programmer will:

  • Develop multimedia training using Macromedia® Flash™ MX, Macromedia® Dreamweaver® MX, Macromedia® Director®, or other similar multimedia authoring tools
  • Develop web pages using animation, audio, and video to enhance the content delivery
  • Create interactive, database-driven websites using Active Server Pages

Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of three or more of the following:

  • Macromedia® Flash™ MX
  • Macromedia® Dreamweaver® MX
  • DHTML and JavaScript
  • Macromedia® Director®
  • Active Server Pages
  • Adobe® Photoshop®, Adobe® Illustrator®, Macromedia® Fireworks®

In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Graphic design
  • Integrating online training with off-the-shelf learning management systems
  • Knowledge of web design limitations and optimization techniques
  • User interface design

  • Sell Bianco Hopkins' products and services, such as instructor-led training and course development, web-based training and CBT, online help, soft skills training, and software quality assurance/testing
  • Generate and follow up on leads
  • Independently plan and develop sales strategies
